  1. The installation directory this readme file is located in contains a
  2. Picasso96 distribution 2.0a which is based on the Picasso96 2.0 release
  3. but has some extensions for Prometheus and Voodoo3 support.

  5. Prometheus users don't need to pay the ShareWare fee for Picasso96 as
  6. Matay already did for all Prometheus hardware shipped.
  7.  
  8. The state of the drivers for Prometheus and Voodoo3 is to some degree
  9. final. We have tested as much as we could on as many Amiga systems as
  10. possible. However you might have some special hardware combination
  11. that exposes unknown errors. Please contact Matay or the Picasso96

  17. Known bugs are:
  18.  - Draw Studio has problems with lines and beziers. This might be some
  19.    DrawLine() problem, but has not been reproduced yet. Will be fixed
  20.    soon.

  22. Current limitations:
  23.  - As for now there is no way to use the video-out feature of the 
  24.    Voodoo boards.
  25.  - Voodoo4 might work but it's not tested yet (will be very soon).
